Flow dynamic water treatment - Cavitation Vortex - Physical Destruction of Microbes               

The Hydro-Physical-SYSTEM is a flow dynamic technology, built to remove/control bio film, legionella, funghi, algae, MIC and microbes that may form pathogens.  The units primarily function using a cavitation vortex with the following characteristics:

• water shear rate - rip/shred/tear microbes such as legionella
  
• high pressure difference - for formulation of cavitation
  
• vacuum - to form the explosion/implosion of cavitation
  
• air suction - to provide oxidation for cavitation
  

The core of the Hydro-Physical-SYSTEM is a reaction container, which is arranged similar to a cyclone. Water is being pumped by a high pressure pump into the reaction container and withina chamber accelerated in such a way that very high flow - and rotation velocities are being produced. The flow volume is being driven so that several water layers, cenrifugal and centripetal, abrade against each other and develop large gravitational forces. A special construction in the reaction container leads to a vacuum of about -1,0 bar (Venturi injector effect). As a consequence of these developing vacuums, the Hydro-Physical-SYSTEM has to intake ambient air and feeds this natural mixture of air-oxygen directly into the reaction container. The oxygen which is released in the water and the air-oxygen from free radicals and act as an oxidation grade.

These robust units are built to withstand the most demanding loads.  Built from high grade stainless steel, the hPS rips apart organic matter vaporizing microbes at high G-Force using the power of cavitation.  Cavitation is an explosion/implosion effect which takes place in the central chamber.  In a millionth of a second, opposite forces of centrifugal and centripetal forces create bubbles reaching a temperature equivalent the surface of the Sun.  At the same time, the pressure produced in the bubbles exceeds that of the deepest ocean on the Earth.  Microbes such as legionella are literally ripped, shredded and oxidised.  As this is a non-chemical process the tough hPS units can produce oxidation and cavitation under tough pH levels.

For a successful operation of the Hydro-Physical-SYSTEM a primary water pressure of 5,0 to 7,0 bar is essential - pre-connection of an adequate high pressure pump.

The following factors are responsible for the decomposition of microbiological contamination in the water:

• water shear rate
• changing pressure differences from +5,0 / 7,0 to -0,1 bar
• vacuum
• cavitations
• oxidation

The membranes of the cell of bacteria, microbes and viruses are being closed, the microbiological material is being destroyed and mortified mechanically. Due to the take in air-oxygen and in the water as well as the subsequent release of oxygen, the mortified cell material is mortified to a large extent.

Another advantage of the Hydro-Physical-SYSTEM is the fact that the high physical exposure of the water and the high accumulation with natural oxygen leads to a modification of the viscosity.  This process can help to loosen bio film, releasing it as plantonik microbes which are then smashed in the cavitation vortex of the hPS.

The treated water is "softer", wash- and cleaning processes, i.e. in washing units for metal parts, can be improved and optimised explicitly.
